West is a point guard who is terrific in transition. Her quickness and athleticism lend itself well to a game that is wide open. She is great when she can hit the gaps with the drive and finish on the move. Although she stands at 5-5, she has a wingspan that favors a player several inches taller than her. West also proved that she can be effective without the ball in her hands as she moved without the ball using screens and finding the open spot on the floor. She is an adequate jump shooter presently, however tightening up her release is an area where she can improve.
