Vitals

Name: Caroline Bowns – Grad Year: 2015 Location: Cumming, Ga. – School: North Forsyth HS Current Position: SG/SF – Projected Position: SG/SF

Strengths

Bowns is a versatile swing perimeter option with a diverse skill set. We’ve watched her game progress since our first evaluation during her eighth grade season. Offensively, Bowns can score the basketball off of the bounce or by catching and knocking down the open jump shot out to the 3-point arc. During the high school season, she plays all three perimeter positions. Though we project her as a primary wing threat, Bowns skill set allows her to serve as a secondary ball handler capable of making a play against extended pressure defense.

Area To Improve

Bowns has continued to get stronger physically. We see continuing to improve that over the next 12 months as an important step. The diversity in her offensive game is built on her ability to get into the lane to make plays so body strength will be key for her at the next level to convert on the opportunities that she creates for herself.

The Bottom Line

A 4.0 GPA student, Bowns gets it done with her work in the classroom as well as her work ethic in her skill development. Her high school coach, Eric Herrick, raves about Bowns’ willingness to get in the gym to work on her game and it shows in her consistent improvement with each evaluation.
