This was my first time getting a chance to breakdown Davis game. She was named as an All-State selection during her freshman school season scoring over 550 points in the process. It's evident right away that Davis can really let it fly from beyond the arc. She made 72 3-pointers as a freshman showing consistent range out to the 3-point line with the ability to shoot to 24-25 feet. In that regard, Davis is already showcasing herself as a potential next level specialist. She had an impressive showing on the UAA circuit in the spring / summer showcasing herself as a true shot maker. Davis also showed that she can create off the bounce getting both feet in the paint. She’s good using either hand around the rim and doesn’t mind playing through contact to finish with her left. That’s rare for an underclass prospect who is a right-handed jump shooter. Look for Davis to keep improving her physical strength over the next 12 months. Some of that is just time doing what time does maturation wise.
