October 23, 2026: Brandon Clay Premium College Scouting Database Evaluation
 |
This was my first time breaking down Englebert’s game. She is a dynamic option at the Point Guard position. The first thing that jumped out at me watching her game is Englebert’s ability to push the pace of play with her speed. She is bouncy and willing to get both feet in the paint quickly on offense to make a play. Whether it’s getting all the way to the basket or finding the open teammate for the drive and kick, Englebert can do either one well. She gets downhill quickly off the dribble not wasting a lot of movement to do so. A left-handed jump shooter, Englebert has range out beyond the 3-point line. She can convert the catch and shoot 3-pointer and is effective shooting off the bounce when the defender backs up looking for the drive. For a lefty, I was impressed with Englebert’s willingness to also attack going to her right hand. She converts at a high percentage rate around the rim even in traffic. During her sophomore season at River Falls, Englebert made 68 3-pointers which led the state of Wisconsin in the sophomore class. She averaged almost 17 points per game. For her final two school seasons, Englebert has moved to Florida and will play at IMG Academy. I'm excited to watch her rise to the challenge of leading an entire roster of college level prospects the next two years. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
