Johnson is a guard with broad shoulders and athleticism that should carry her to the next level. She provided to more than just an athlete in this primarily skill-based academy. She showed exceptional confidence with her weak hand when passing and driving. She showed the poise and savvy needed to create space and openings on the perimeter. She used ball fakes to get defenders off balance and then use those openings to attack. Her ability to score in the lane even versus physical contact is what gives us confidence in her projection to the next level. Defensively she seemed engaged and willing to sit into a stance. That is a trait that college coaches will love to have on their roster. Johnson showed range on her spot up jumper. Proving that she can hit a high percentage from 3-point range will be key for her impact at the next level. – Coach Hemi
