Wahlund is a crafty, mismatch wing player. She has a great feel for the game and will often take advantage of defender's momentum in order to score. She showed a terrific step through in traffic, which resulted in a tough score. She also has a nice up and under move when the defense jumps on her initial move. One area that Wahlund can improve upon and see immediate results is the release on her jump shot. Her left hand often drags on her release, which prevents her from having the range and accuracy that she could have.
