Ely is a potential lockdown defender on the perimeter. Her athleticism and frame are ideal for coaches looking for a player to anchor a defense around. She can harass ball handlers on the perimeter, or she can be the lurking defender that shoots the gap on a trap. On the offensive end is where Ely still has room to grow.
