Swanston is a guard with a polished offensive skill set. She showed range on her jumper and used jabs to keep defenders off balance on the wing. She can put the ball on the floor and finish on the move. Her fundamentals are polished and she has offensive upside to score in a variety of ways. Working on maximizing her lateral quickness in the offseason will be very important. This will help her on both ends of the court.
Swanston is a young prospect with a number of tools that point to a bright future. Her versatility right now gives her the ability to make an impact on the court. She showed she could post up smaller defenders while also being able to handle on the perimeter. At one particular moment she was able to handle versus a trap and stepped through the defense to attack pressure. The next challenge for her will be to develop one particular skill that she can count on as her go-to to contribute on any particular while still keeping her versatility.
