Maher is a potential option at the off guard spot. She can shoot the ball, stretching opposing defenses when she has time to set her feet. She is limited athletically.
Maher is a 5'6 guard that has great defensive presence. She boxes out really well, contests shots in the paint on the wing, and is active in the passing lanes. She reads the eyes of the offense well and capitalizes on steals by pushing it in transition. Offensively, she has good awareness, and strength around the rim. Developing a more consistent attack at the rim and taking more opportunities beyond the arc will lead to more offensive impact. Overall, Maher has a lot of growth potential as a young guard as she is only in the class of 2022.
