Norwood has a fantastic foundation to build upon. She already received a couple of college scholarship offers and for good reason. She’s grown several inches since our first time training in Dallas. That growth has helped Norwood add range to her outside shot. She is a real threat out to the 3-point line now. Her shooting pocket is consistent and a place of strength. Look for Norwood to keep working on landing as square to the rim as she is when she starts her shot. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
Norwood has grown multiple inches since we trained in Dallas years ago. Her in-game production level has increased substantially as a result. She just picked up her first scholarship offer from Abilene Christian and for good reason. Norwood has grown into her skill set making her a good-sized lead guard in the process. Her willingness to put in the time and effort to be a complete player is worth noting. Norwood can pass the basketball, find the paint off the dribble and is a willing defender. I had not evaluated Norwood's game in right at two years. It's amazing how quickly she is growing into her frame with her game progressing rapidly as a result. Norwood has the ability to push the tempo of the game with her pace. She is a pass first option in that way with a real handle. Norwood is shifty in transition like watching a car shift gears in traffic. Expect Norwood to keep growing as she gets more and more comfortable keeping the basketball to score when the defense never fully commits to help side stopping her drive. Norwood has the work ethic to keep working on her physical build as well. Those two additions will help advance her game to the next level. Excellent skill, and a well-rounded guard that can play on and off the ball. Norwood is a bright young player that was consistently looking to expand her game all weekend. Moving forward, as her confidence builds, she can look to be more assertive off the dribble and not be shy about taking open jumpers from range.
Norwood was one of my favorite kids at camp. In a gym full of kids in which Norwood is giving up physical strength to almost all of them, she didn't back down from anyone. Norwood's skillset is sharp for a kid her age. She plays with an energy and enthusiam that will only grow as she does. -- Brandon Clay
