Cruz is a 5'8 wing/small forward that plays well on the interior. Her main impact is in the paint and she flows well within a set offense in the half court. She had a nice turnaround jumper on the low block that she converted on in the key that was great to see and can be used as a mismatch opportunity against smaller defenders. Her balance and strength inside was something that stood out about her play and is so important in an environment where poise and patience is very crucial. She plays with strength on both ends of the floor and an area she can look to improve on right away is her footspeed. Adding more guard like tendencies to her permimeter game will pair well with her inside game and will bode well for her overall impact on the floor in the future.
