The 2018 class saw a surge in commitments in the early winter season.  To date the junior class has already seen three of the top 10 players in the class and six of the top 20 come off the board.

Just this week No. 8 Amira Collins of LaPlata, Maryland, picked the Lady Vols.  A week earlier the top ranked player in the class, Charli Collier of Mont Belvieu, Texas, committed to Connecticut.  No. 19 Mykassa Robinson of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, decided recently to follow her sister to Colorado.

With 11 months until the early signing period for the class of 2018 expect a lot of changes.  However an early jump can help a team be more targeted going forward as well as building momentum.

Highly ranked regulars like Texas, Stanford and Connecticut find themselves near the top early and are joined by Iowa State.  Check out the top 10 classes at this early stage.
