With most states finally tipping off the 2013-14 season, the ProspectsNation.com staff ranks the top 25 teams of the early season.

The staff has watched many of these teams live already, via the Riverdale Jamboree, Turkey Jamm, Freedom Jamboree, Norcross Tip-Off, and this weekend, the Breakdown event in Minnesota, we’ll be well on our way to the deep coverage we are planning this season.

After this weekend our staff will be at the Nike Tournament of Champions, Naples Shootout, Blue Chip Super Sunday Shootout, LB Insider Best of Michigan Holiday Classic and the West Coast Jamboree, plus a host of big matchups across the country.

One interesting factor in the first month of the season will be the impact of the 30-day waiting period rule in California. The Jackrabbits of Long Beach Poly add one of the top seniors in the country in St. Bernard transfer LaJahna Drummer, a 6-foot-2 five-star forward, on January 6th.
