CINCINNATI – The Midwest Showdown has long been the nation’s premier event on Memorial Day Weekend. This year’s edition was no different. Here’s a look at multiple players who made their presence felt in the Buckeye State that weekend:
Class of 2022 wing Ruby Whitehorn of Harper Woods, Michigan, wasted no time establishing herself as a bigtime prospect for Michigan Crossover EYBL. Her length and skill give her a smooth blend of talent at an early age.
Whitehorn’s school teammate, Madisen Wardell of Southfield, Michigan, is also a prospect to track in 2022. Wardell will be a guard we’ll have an eye on for Michigan Crossover EYBL the next couple of summers.
Class of 2022 guard Karly Weathers of Loretto, Tennessee, has quietly established herself as one of the premier options in the class regionally. The left-handed shooter is a sniper for Alabama Southern Starz Bush #PSBFamily.
Class of 2022 guard Faith Feuerbach of Sycamore, Illinois, has the tools to be a productive next level guard. Playing for The Truth Silver, Feuerbach put together a quality showing here.
Class of 2022 forward Journey Thompson of McMurray, Pennsylvania, is up next in the Western PA Bruins organization. She’s a dynamic option for them in the frontcourt.
