No. 10 Richards Narrows List

No. 10 Richards Narrows List
Didi Richards

Class of 2017 wing DiDi Richards of Cypress, Texas, has narrowed her list to six finalists that she will ultimately make a college selection from. The 6-foot-1 wing is now considering Baylor, Kansas, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

Richards, who is the No. 10 ranked player in the ELITE 100 for 2017 and the No. 2 ranked wing, has the potential to be an impact two-way player for any of the aforementioned programs.

This summer, Richards tried out for the USA U17 national team and played well enough to put herself in the discussion to possibly make the team. Here is an extended evaluation from her play at the U17 trials.

May 2015 @ USA Basketball

Richards has all of the physical tools to be one of the premier wings in the class of 2017.  She is gifted with elite length and quality athleticism.  On the defensive end she will be able to guard multiple positions and create problems by way of deflections and steals.  Offensively, she has shown continued improvement in her pull up jumper and has the ability to create her own plays off the bounce.  As she continues to learn to utilize her athleticism and the rest of her physical gifts she will solidify herself in the discussion as one of the top prospects in the class.
