Stephanie Paul, the 6-foot forward from Naples, Fla., signed a National Letter of Intent with Georgia during the early signing period.  The four-star prospect is ranked No. 32 in the ProspectsNation.com ELITE 150 and chose the Bulldogs over finalists Alabama, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Miami.

Paul is the second ELITE 150 commitment in the class for head coach Joni Taylor.  She joins No. 129 Kortney Eisenman, a 6-2 post from Columbus, Ohio.

The additions are well-timed as the Bulldogs graduate two comparable players in forward Shacobia Barbee and post Merritt Hempe after this season.

Paul can potentially play some minutes at the wing position based on matchups, which is part of the reason the power player is ranked where she is.  She is an explosive athlete with the power to get things down inside as well as run the floor and attack down hill on the move.

Don’t be surprised to see Georgia active in the spring signing period with an emphasis on acquiring backcourt depth.
