Recruiting Rundown: Transfers Nixon, Prince

Recruiting Rundown: Transfers Nixon, Prince
Jordan NixonJordan Nixon

Notre Dame’s Jordan Nixon and Texas’ Sedona Prince are arguably the two premier transfer prospects left on the big board.

A dynamic guard, Nixon will be a rising sophomore with three seasons of eligibility remaining.

MY TAKE: Don’t be surprised at all if Nixon, who hails from New York, stays on the Eastern Seaboard. I’m hearing that she has multiple visits already lined up with yearly NCAA Tournament programs. Nixon shot the ball well from beyond the arc last season at 37.5% and went 84% at the free throw line.

Sedona Prince is visiting Notre Dame this week after visiting UConn last week. Prince also has Oregon in the mix as well.  – Brandon Clay

MY TAKE: Notre Dame seems like a likely landing spot when the dust settles. The Fighting Irish don’t have anyone like Prince on the roster or committed so far in the class of 2020. When completely healthy, Prince has the size and skill to be an All-League caliber player at whatever school she winds up at.
