In drillwork, Haltom showed good footwork penetrating the center of the lane with a side step move. You can tell she’s acquired a lot of valuable footwork over the last few years. When she is attacking the basket she keeps her head up to see if there’s a better opportunity. On the perimeter, she does stay ready to catch and shoot. Joy has developed a real swiss army knife game where she adapts well to who she's playing with. She plays her tail off on the defensive end. She finds open teammates, makes reads and executes, and really makes her team better in a camp environment where there aren't set plays. She can shoot the three and we'd just like to see her continue to expand her range deeper and deeper. She's really improved her conditioning and strength since we saw her last fall as well.
