Lewis' shooting ability can change how a defense plays her team. She has the capability to run off 2,3,4 3-point jumpers in a row at any given time. She is good both in the half court and in transition. Her shooting release is clean and quick, which gives her consistency. Most importantly, Megan is not deterred by a miss. She knows that she has the ability to hit the next one. What Lewis will need to look at is finding ways to affect the game when her jumper is not there. She is a solid player in every aspect of the game, but does not necessarily change the game in those areas. As it stands, Lewis gets a lot out of her abilities, because of the work that she has put in past years.
Lewis is a player that has been on our radar for several years now as a shooter. She showed that skill once again this weekend. Her specialty lays in her ability to catch and shoot. However, she showed a more complete game at camp as she handled efficiently and defended her position as well. The next step for her will be to find ways to make plays while putting the ball on the floor. The key will be for her not get away from her strength as a shooter, but to find ways to allow the dribble highlight her ability to shoot.
